This is already built into the pricing.  We are a bit uncertain of the actual value of that extra 20-25 minutes when, with some proper planning- its not necessary.  It is your choice of course. However we believe a break is good for the musicians as well as dynamically for your guests. Generally, your affair is 5 hours in length beginning with cocktails followed by a 4 hour reception. Most often the keyboardist is playing the cocktail hour.  In about 30% of our wedding events, the keyboardist/guitarist is playing the ceremony as well.  Thats about 6 hours. Cairnwood Estate will open its doors Thursday, August 14 for a romantic end-of-the summer evening including a wine tasting showcasing wines from around the world, entertainment by the band Funktion from Philly Event Group, and a chance to explore the Beaux Arts-style mansion and its lush grounds. Visitors are invited  to experience the grandeur of the “Gilded Age” from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Co-hosting the event is Frank’s Union Wine Mart of Wilmington, Delaware, which will provide international wines. Imported and domestic cheeses will be among the fare offered by Jamie Hollander Gourmet Catering. Admission to the Summer Wine Tasting is $25; Members receive 1/2 price admission to all events. Limited tickets are available. Reservations are recommended and may be made by calling 215-947-2004 or by sending an e-mail to info@cairnwood.org. Guests must be 21 years old or older to attend.
