Amazing Testimony For The Funktion Band!

The Funktion Hi Ken, It has been a blissful whirlwind of a few weeks, but we are finally back to reality and catching up on life, emails, etc. We want to thank you and everyone else in The Funktion for truly making our wedding PHENOMENAL. You surpassed all of our expectations!! Starting with your rendition of U2's "All I Want is You" for our first dance, which Ross and I continue to talk about because it was (I can't believe I'm saying this...) BETTER tha n the original, you continued to nail every song throughout the night. Other highlights were Sledgehammer, I Wanna Dance with Somebody , and of course, Shut Up and Dance. Honestly, every song was fabulous, and the entire band had an energetic, fun-filled, entertaining presence. There was never a dull moment, and the dance floor was packed all night. Wedding Day Timeline:  1. Order vs. Time:   When we are constructing a wedding day timeline for a client the order is more important than the exact time.  While it’s helpful to map out time blocks, picking an exact time will only set you up for failure.  For example: 7:25pm-First Dance, 7:28 Father/Daughter Dance is way too specific.  While the song you selected for your first dance may be 3 minutes and 30 seconds this scenario leaves no time for the band to interact with you and set up a meaningful introduction for your father/daughter dance.  And chances are, some things will take longer than anticipated and others a little shorter.  Instead, identify the order that works best for you and your fiancé and trust your vendors to implement it!  A little Flexibility and Trust are key. 2.
